Do those lower mounts only work with the 7.5 & 8.5 10 bolts? Or would they also work on a Moser 12 bolt?

It's plenty strong. We've used this similar design on the A Bodies for years. The upper shock mount it tied right into the coils spring mount. However, we have distributed the load a little more w/ our bracket.

The car we fit them under had a 10 bolt, ring gear size shouldn't affect the shock mounts. Fixment w/ the Moser axle is to be determined. On the "A" body kit we had to build a special bracket for the Moser axle, we'll do the same for the "G" body if needed.

I have a lot of seat time in our 66 Chevelle w/ our CoilOvers in it. Going from a twin tube shock to our Monotube is huge difference, the texture of the ride is much better, really takes a lot of the harshness out of the ride even w/ lower profile wheels.

Maybe some of our customers can chime in w/ some unbiased opinions?

I am doing the install now, front and rear coil overs. Once I am done I will have a full write up with lots of pictures.

So far I am very impressed with the quality of the parts...plus they just look bad a$$!!!!

Darren - I take it you will be adding the lower bracket to the catalog in time?

Does this set up still allow for the stock routing of exhaust? it doesn't look like there is room to fit the tail pipes in the stock location.

Up to you. Suspension thread is probably more fitting.

I want those rears!! I need to get the rear end back down to where it was with the cut IROC coils... it looked soooo sweet but it handled like sh*t and wasn't very safe.

Glad to see more guys from MCSS coming over here (I'm Kub)

Now it's been a while since I've been under my SS, but it looks like the normal location for the upper shock mount. Am I right?

The lower bracket - I'm guess it is pushed back to make room for the spring? How does this bracket fare with rear disks? Guys that have put disks on the rear end (usually from a 4th generation F-body, or a Wilwood kit) have had to put a "spacer" on the lower mounting point to push it further inboard to clear.
