New guy from Katy, Tx.

Have seen a few of the cars that are in the Build/Progress section of the site. I figured since I have something or will be building something to compete with I might as well get on here and do a lot more research.
I am an IT professional In Houston, Texas. Been modding and racing cars since I 1990... Mostly FOX body Mustangs. I currently still have 1 1985 FOX Mustang coupe 5.0 (selling), 1 1988 Ranger 5.0 conversion, 1 2007 Mustang GT, 1 1964 Fairlane 2 door post (hope to build to do some pro-touring events) and a 66 Mustang chassis (selling)

I will be building the 64 Fairlane with a GR350 suspension setup and either a Ford Coyote 5.0 or a rebuilt modded LS series engine with a Tremec 3550 behind it (may change that to a T56).
I have a lot of stuff planned very little gathered up at this point. I have the GR350 suspension and the Fairlane chassis.

I will be creating a build log for it once I get the 66 Mustang and the 85 Mustang sold. Cannot do anything else till then. NO ROOM in my suburb 2 car garage...

Here's the Fairlane.


Would love to have something close to what the Ring Brothers did with Afterburner. I know mine will be no where near as nice but I am really wanting something that you don't see all the time. That is why I chose the 1964 2 door post Fairlane. Not your typical hot rod or muscle car.
