proportioning valve location-64 F-85 what do you think????

Guys just finished up fabbing and flaring my brake lines, Pictured is were I decided to mount the distribution block and proportioning valve. I bent the line up and around allowing for easier access to the cross member I had to modify for the 200R-4. I had someone comment that they would not leave the proportioning valve in that position because the knob could get broke off if I hit something. The car will have a lower than stock stance but I'm not slamming it. What do you guys think?

It does kind of look like it's right in the line of fire from stuff kicked up by the front tire...

Maybe so, I'm going to fab a bracket and turn it sideways over the weekend. Thanks.

Thanks for your input. I fabbed a brace and turned the proportioning valve sideways. All I had laying around is 1/8 inch plate so it's more then sturdy. Any comments?
