New Memeber / Recaro Geek / General enthusiast

      Hi,

New member here, dont currently have a pro touring car but do have multiple older projects including but not limited to a 1961 impala 2 door post, 52 dodge 5 window pickup, and a also a 300+ whp 1986 volkswagen GTI. I run JJ Custom Interior in Tacoma, WA and actually had a customer refer me to the site figured i should check it out see what kind of cool stuff is being built here. Alot of you guys might know me from other forums and facebook as a2coupe2a or ron@jjcustominterior

My shop specializes in Recaro restoration. I will post up my Recaro resource guides as well as plenty of diy guides and videos as i have time. Hopefully you guys will find the information useful. I know there isnt a ton of info available on older recaros and im always willing to help in any way i can be it telling you the model of seat you have or where to find parts for a discontinued seat.

Here is some of our work for those who are curious..

      Gen 4 Recaro LS-C's

Gen 4 Recaro LS-B's / Rear seat / MK2 VW Jetta panels / Boots / Floor mats / Wheel insert

Recaro Sportster CS's / Mk5 VW door panel inserts / Boot / Armrest cover / Headliner / False floor

Recaro Pole Positions (the lower belt guides were not yet trimmed in pics)

      Recaro LS-B's / Matching rear

      More Random'ness

      Nice work!

I've been looking for someone to repair / rebuild a set of N's that I have and re-upholster my Recaro Office chair...Will have contact you to send up the seats and have you do an estimate.

Can you still get the old style "Spectrum" Cloth?

Welcome to the P-T boards from a fellow Car Lounge member. I PM'ed you some time ago about redoing my e21 Recaros for my Camaro. Still intend to do that, just not sure when!

Hey nice to see im not the only one . I think we will be advertising on here before the end of the week.

Here are some of the most recent projects we have going, also should have a set of pole positions finished before the week is over.

Yes it is. We are doing the houndstooth insert with one of the older style recaro pins rather then embroidery. It should give the seat a more vintage look.

We will also be making an anti sub hole for the base so you will be able to run a harness with it.
