Vent systems that you KNOW work

I would like to know of vent systems that are being used and that are known to work. I have done a search and cant really find anything that is said to wrk and work well.

If you have something please include the part numbers ect of your setup

      Thanks in advance

If you are talking about a fuel tank vent, contact John Parsons on here about his fuel tank vent/baffle. Here's one link to it I found during a search, just scroll down to John's post.

Thanks Bill. I do sell a vent system that works, and I've shipped about 30 of them over the past year or so. I have several in stock right now.

John's vent setup does work well. I recently installed one on my Elky. The ultimate test was this past weekend at RTTH 7. For the AutoX Sat. I filled my fuel tank just to see what would happen. Not a drop came out of the vent or anywhere else. It is simple and it works.

Brandon, Mine is not visible as it is in the quarter panel of the Elky, but I believe John can provide you with what you want to see.

      Hey Brandon,

Believe it or not... I don't have any installed photos. I can't tell you how many times I've asked my customers to send me a photo on an installed system (because I get this question a lot!). I don't have a single one.

There's a diagram / installation instructions in the other thread, plus this photo from my blog:

I can vouch for this product as John and I developed it together and it was derived from my PCV oil catch can. Kyle Tucker from DSE has one they are testing also. Besides a fuel tank vent baffle it also works as a rear axle vent baffle.

Will this work as a vapor liquid separator? I need to install one before the evap canister on my eRod engine.

Yes, it will very well for that. I'm assuming you need to keep liquid gas out of the evap canister. My fuel vent will solve that problem.
