How much was your cold air intake?

I'm Looking at the spectre cold air kit for a ls1 in a sec gen camaro and the price is high. I know they have great products but I would like to know what you guys have in your cold air kits that you have made. If you could include who you got your parts from and maybe some pics.

Just trying to see If I can save some money and make one that goes down and passes through the inner fender down by the radiator on the passenger side like on the DSE sec gen
