Recaro seats / brackets and tall driver

I just purchased a very nice PT69 Camaro. Although the interior is veryrespectable the stock high back hounds tooth seats and factory console, It'svery uncomfortable. I'm 6'6", with the seat all the way back I feel likeI'm stuff into the car. I was at the Goodguy's in Pleasanton this weekend (thatis where I actually purchased the car) and there was an interior in another PT Camarothat I though looked great, Recaro Specialist M seats up front and the guy hada back seat made (I guess) to match, it looked awesome. The front seats wentback to almost touch the rear. I found the front seat online but I'm wonderingabout a seat bracket that will #1 attach to the Recaro and #2 allow it to bemounted farther toward the rear.... Any ideas?

Another vote for Wedge Engineering. I suggest calling them if you have a particular request (ie: taller). I had them do brackets for My Recaro's that were lower than their stock ones. Very easy to work with and they fit right out of the box. money well spent.

      Nice car by the way.

Did you ever get the seats? Funny, I parked in that same stall having breakfast at Deans once a week for about 5 years....

I'd love to hear some updates or opinions on the Wedge brackets, I have recaros that need to go into a Chevelle. Plus I drive past Long Beach twice a day to and from work. Inquiring minds!

Nice car. Good color. That car looks like a build that was recently done and updated on this site.

you guys think that wedgengineering folks would be able to make me some brackets to bolt onto a set of bmw seats and the stock floorpan of a firebird?
