      Camaro rear frame rail spacing...

I have a 66 chevy ii that I am thinking about installing a rear from a corvette in. I was wondering what the frame rail spacing on the camaro is. If it is narrower than the chevy ii, I could narrow my frame rails and use/modify Wayne Dues mounting kit. I appreciate any help offered.

No need, call Wayne. He should be able to do a bracket set up in the rear for you. If you want a wider rear tire maybe he can do a bracket set up for a 1 1/2" narrowed frame rail.
Best way to find out is to call him. He should be able to recommend a year that would be some what compatible with a II rear.

Thanks for the reply. I have talked to Wayne. He is doing my front end. I was just trying to do some research on my own. It is to satisfy my own curiousity. If anyone could provide an answer I would greatly appreciate it. I am wanting the distance from a st gen camaro.
