Removing inner rocker panel questions

U was basically tying to figure when and how to remove the inner rocker panel!!! But the issue i was wondering was if it could be done without the car being ripped to pieces before it installed. I am only doing the inner (the ones underneath the car) and my car is almost finished but I am doing a little paint ad body work after. so i was wondering if this could be done with the little body that need to be done from underneath the car or is it too late.
My rockers are not in the best shape but also not in the worst!!! Thanks for any advice

Is the entire inner shot? Or just sections? If you can do the repairs in short sections that would be much better than cutting out the entire rocker. That piece of the car carries a lot of load. If you cut it all out and don't support the floor, cowl, B & C piller areas you will most likely cause some shifting.
Keep in mind ANY welding you do down there needs to be coated, inside and out, to prevent the weld from rusting. The welded areas will rust must faster than the unheated zones.

Ohhh so what you are saying is tat it will be a slight hassle to do in my current situation!!! However I do have frame connectors welded and installed at the moment. so would that support it? And Mark the astroracer is an crazy idea. keep up the good work!!!

Slight hassle? yes... If you do them in sections, like I suggested above, you should be okay. Just don't cut them out all at one time. I would do the center section first then the front and rear. The connectors will help with the floor but they don't carry any of the rocker load so be careful. make sur you put the car on good jack stands and support it under the front and rear subs. Don't set it on the body anywhere.

ok,, well that seems a little advance, so maybe i will take it to a body shop... i dont want to mess up my car lol

It might actually be easier to replace both the inner and outer rockers are the same time. the Inner rocker is welded to the floor pan near the bottom, and the outer rocker at the top and bottom. The inner rocker is sandwiched between the floor and outer, as well as firewall structure near the toepan...

well that makes since but then it seems I would realy have to do some dissambling to my car and I dont think i am willing at them moment
