Another rust converter question.

Anyone ever use Rustmort? I use RightStuff to protect/coat bare metal. I was just wondering if anyone has compared the 2 before.

stop using these convertor save all crap, either blast or cut and weld new metal in, or if it cleans up, spray with some epoxy primer, that will seal it up from moisture and allow you to bodywork over

I am not trying to use it as a 'save all' i am using paint stripper and water is used to neutralize it when you are done. Water causes a little something called flash rust and i want to know what you use to neutralize it.

alittle something uh, go to any body shop and see if they have that crap on a shelf, you won't find it, and oh yeah as long as you dry it off quickly it will not flash rust, sand metal and prime, , what was that you stated?? " i use right stuff to protect/coat bare metal"
i forgot i am a mind reader, flash rust or not throw the **** away.
yeah i got my microscope out and looked at the rust i converted and wrote a story on it comparing rustmort to the right stuff, let me bend over and you can read it.
you asked if anyone else compared them, not what people do to stop rust, etc, why don't you ask better questions then thinking you know all and are using rust convertors

i agree and disagree. on the inside of panels, backside of fenders etc.. i would/have used a converter. metal is going to rust, my thinking is.... if i can slow it down in an area that may have rust starting... great. i would never ever try to use it to fix rust. i see it as a futile attempt at preventing the inevitable. (wow big words that i dont know how to spell)

Thank you race-rodz-inc. That is what I was looking for. Do you know if anyone makes something, perhaps a drill attachment, for those tight spaces? Something that looks like a pipe cleaner or gun barrel cleaner? I dont have the money for blasting the metal, nor the equipment.

tool store..harbor freight...hardware store.... might even be able to use a gun cleaner..... you can chuck almost anything up in a drill. what works really good is a wire brush in a 90* die grinder... bad part is ...it kill the die grinder, and you will be picking metal wires outa your body for weeks. i guess those warnings that the brush attachments arent rated for 35,000 rpm are right after all.
