      SuperCar Sunday August 14, 2011. Pro-Touring Day!

      Gentlemen,

On August 14 Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills, CA will be hosting an early-morning event where Pro-Touring type cars will be the featured group. PT.com has been given 15-20 slots for cars. Afterward Hotchkis and Magnuson will be hosting lunch and a quasi-tech session at a nearby location.

Both Larry and I have been to SCS several times and they always have a great variety of cars. Lambo's, Vipers, Muscle, Cobras, etc. The last time I was there they had over 500 cars in attendance. It's a class-act deal.

Supercar Sunday is in Woodland Hills off of Topanga Cyn. and Erwin. 6100 Topanga Cyn Blvd. Woodland Hills.

      So, who's in?

      Carl,

Thank you for posting! I will rope off the PT Marque area. After our drive, we will end up at a very special location. We will have a wonderful lunch provided by our Sponsors of this event, Hotchkis and Magnuson Superchargers. There is space for 45 cars total. 20 of those spots are already taken, so please rsvp asap.

Trust me, this will be an amazing event. We will have photographers and videographers as well. For more info on the location: www.supercarsunday.com

Please note: Arrive at Supercar Sunday Location at 7am, depart at 10:30am. Scenic drive to end location. Please be gassed up and ready to go.

      Thanks,
      D

Hey Carl, think we chatted about this before and I said I'm down. I'm still totally down to go, unless this new LS adventure gets in the way.

Ugh, 7am? I've been wanting to go for some time now, could I meet you guys there a little later? Like around 8 (don't feel like you need to save a spot for me then)?I know it sounds incredibly whiney, but I'm just not cut out for getting up at 4:30 to head up from San Diego.

Ended up going with Pomona Valley Customs. TCI has worked with them in the past and they could take my car right away and get it done 5 business days from drop off. I had touched base with Chris but he was just too busy. Best of show also could take it and turn it around quickly and had very competitive pricing but given TCI is down the street from PVC I went with them. Rob from PCH hotrods who is local could of done it too if I had just a little longer fuse to work with.

Matt just wants to make a dramatic entrance. If you're going to be late you had better bring Tommy Burgers for the hungry masses. There's one just up the road on Topanga. ;-)
