      Funny you said that, I had the SAME exact problem with my Dougs headers.. Good news/Bad news... Bad news is your gonna have to get new headers since trying to dimple them wont work cause you'd have to just about crush it.. Good news is there is plenty of info on here of the type and kind of step headers you can replace them with. If I can get the part number of the one I used I will send it over. Also, Dougs headers are GREAT and you should have no problem selling them off for a good price to offset the cost.

      Either way it is a small price to pay for this kit. I have 265's up front with no fender mods on a 9 inch rim though and ridetech stuff front and back. The car handles unbelievable and looks sick with the big meats up front and 335's out back. Well worth it!
