      Britt,

Thanks for the pictures. That clears things up a lot. I plan to use a 275 tire at about that ride height on my '69 (I have a 235 now). When you said "The remaining lip was then rolled under and a new panel was attached to this.", how was that panel attached to the fender?

You can see it in the last two images. The additional material was welded on so that the inside of the fender went up high enough to catch the inner fender well.

Thanks guys. You know you I love you guys, and I love your products, but I believe the customer needs to know that he just can't bolt on this kit and expect it to not rub at all without some work, or without tolerating a bit of rub here and there. Great kit, and I hope we get to sell, install, more then just a few. If I could make a suggestion, run a 9" wheel to help pull in that 275 wide tire a hair... which is what I think I would suggest to customers who call in here.

We got our Tru Trun Kit today. This is a pre release production piece we are testing for Ride Tech on installation, instructions, etc. And of coarse testing for performance.

We are installing this on Partick's 68 Camaro which will give us a great A / B test. Patrick's car already has a triangle 4 link, upper and lower arms, sways bars, 600 steering box, etc. So we should get some driving impression testing right away and then we will bring it to RTTH's for some real world performance testing.

I will do the install sometime this week and post some pics and review.

Also, I understand Tru Turn kits will be ready for the masses very soon, probably about the same time I get this one installed.

Yep...we've got several systems ready to release, pending Frank's critique of our instructions and any other refinements that might arise. Should be the end of this week or early next. Frank...let me know how this thing goes and what else we can provide!

We will be taking a closer look at the A Body front suspenison. Not much to gain on the wheel size, but I think we can minimize bumpsteer.

x2 I know I have Oil Pan mods to make. I don't really want to spend the cash on a new pan when I can change mine. But I will need some time to do it before RTTH. (Plus assemble the rest of the car.)

I have finally gotten a chance to gather the camber curve and bumpsteer data for your guys who are interested in such stuff. You'll notice that the camber curve is fairly radical, but appropriate for this size wheel/tire combination.
You'll also notice that the bumpsteer numbers are just stellar! As indicated at the bottom of the graph, the total variance through 5" of suspension travel is under .050"...about the thickness of a dime. Put in context...many [most] newer cars have .150" to over 1" of bumpsteer variation. Indycar guys shoot for under .020".

Here are some image of the TRUTurn system on the 48HOURCAMARO.
I know there has been some questions on LS oil pan clearance and also tire fitment.
