And a quick question. I've got the Hotchkis 2" drop springs, will those springs and the drop from this kit be too much?

I love low, but I don't want to make sparks every time I go over a speedbump...

I can answer the quick question about your springs with the ridetech spindles: Yes it will be too low unless you have done mods to your fender wells. I put a 1/2" coil spring spacer under my Hotchkis coils with the ridetech spindles - it put the ride height spot on where a 245/45-17 tucks just about level with the wheel opening. I didn't have any rubbing problems on the track or autocross at RTOS. I haven't noticed any more rubbing than I already had previously except if I miss dodging a pot hole.

I have the Dynatech 1 3/4- 1 7/8 stepped headers on my small block and they clear the tru turn. They also fit the T56.

Why is there a tru turn kit for the 64-66 mustang and not for the 67-70? What is the difference?

We have had the upper and Lower StrongArms for the 67-70 Mustangs for several years. That kit did incorporate the dropped cross shaft, but it used the stock spindles and steering components.

The Tru Turn for the earlier 64-66 Mustang incorporates the StrongArm tubular control arms [with a dropped cross shaft], a taller ridetech spindle to optimize camber gain and ackerman, and a drag link bracket that eliminates bumpsteer. The current system for the 67-70 Mustang uses the StrongArms, but interfaces with the oem Mustang spindle and makes no changes in the steering geometry. When we do the actual Tru Turn for the 67-70 Mustang it will incorporate all the extra features of the 64-66 Mustang Tru Turn system.
Having said all that, our current StrongArm system for the 67-70 Mustang works quite well with the TCP rack system that will allow you to optimize the bumpsteer. We have not yet worked with any other rack system out there.
My own 69 Mustang has our off the shelf StrongArm system with TA series ShockWaves and a TCP power rack. It drives and handles quite well...some might say a bit beyond that .
The reason that we have not yet done an actual Tru Turn system for the 67-70 Mustang is that the spindle/steering arm [and aftermarket brake options] are much better than the earlier cars and do not impose the handling compromises of the earlier cars. There are improvements to be made, just not the huge ones that the earlier cars need.

But...we will be doing an actual Tru Turn system for the 67-70 Mustang in the next 12 months. It will incorporate the ridetech spindle and steering geometry improvements of the earlier Mustang system to make those 67-70 cars even better!

We have had major success with the Tru Turn...thanks to ridetech for putting out a great, yet simple system that makes a HUGE difference on the F bodys!!!

If you are running a 168 tooth flywheel the Dynatech 1 3/4" tube headers will not work. they will not clear the starter. several different 1 5/8" headers will work with a more swept back design than the super-comps.

I have TT with Dynatech headers on a TSP LS3 and a T56. We had to put spacers under the frame motor mounts but the headers cleared the TT. I used S&P conversion plates with energy suspension mounts. I had ATS plates but S&P plates raised the motor up more. I am running 18x9.5 wheels with 265s. I will post pics once the wheels are mounted.
