looking for classic 6-7" round head lights with turn signals built in. not tri-bar

hey all. I had a hard drive crash and lost all my old bookmarks. I've seen a couple avatars and signatures with a typical muscle car 7" round light and a turn signal incorporated in the lens.

I don't want the Lead-sled style tri-bar or Blue dot look. as invisible or minimal as possible.



I simply cannot find them now.

anyone got a link or a web site?

Edit.... I am finding lots of lights but they all seem cheap. so if anyone has direct experience or at least seen a brand in person, that would be great.

but anyhow i guess it will work i can paint i chrome or something. my plan is to use this as my turn signals and the oem bumper openings as a place for fog lights. what do you guys think.

I don't know how high quality they are, there is a set of those on a customer car in the shop now and the lenses are already scratched and the car has almost no miles on them. They look cool, but not sure about long term

Since the car that came in your shop only has a few miles on on it and headlights are somewhat protected on most vehicles I'd wonder how they got scratched in the first place? Perhaps they weren't treated well before they were installed and already had the scratches? I've had mine about 5 years or so with no issues and they look the same.

check out 'Richards Stuff' he is at most GoodGuys shows. He has a light with an LED ring, or halo around the perimeter. Sort of like a BMW, can be wired as park light, -dim, and turn sig, - bright.

That i can't tell you how they were scratched, but they are superlight and if they scratched this easy, they may not take a rock very well. I also don't remember seeing a vent on them like most I have seen. I plan on polishing them up and clear coating them to help protect them.

^^^Seems to contradict? Respectfully, I'll ask if you just don't like the product Mike. I considered them higher quality than I expected when I recieved them when compared with other combo headlights available at the time (years ago) and they've served me well. I do not know how they compare with current offerings.

They are very light when compared with a standard glass headlight and a park/turn signal assembly combined. Since they are cantilevered weight, the reduced weight might have a bigger advantage than just reducing overall weight. I wanted them to allow me to use my park/turn openings for brake duct openings because I was pushing my stock brakes way past their intended use on track and had overheating issues. The weight reduction was just a bonus.

They are vented and standard headlight buckets may (probably will) need to be clearanced for the vent and rear of the light where the plug is. They were not a simple "bolt in" on my car and required cutting up a set of buckets. As for rocks? Headlights and rocks doesn't usually end well for the headlight. I installed the stainless grill shields on mine so I wouldn't have to put tape over my lights on track days because protection is required by some sanctioning bodies at track days.

I would seriously consider just polishing out the scratches if they're not too deep like we do with modern plastic car headlight lenses. The time and expense of clearing the lights, risk of short or long term chemical incompatability with the plastic, plus the potential reduction of light transfer wouldn't be worth risking $200.00 worth of headlights to me. Is clear more scratch resistant than the hard plastic lense?

i honestly dont know enough about them yet to come up with a plan. by sealed do you mean pressurized as well? why couldnt you just insert an amber light somewhere in the housing. putting a cutoff in seems to be the hard part.

if your planning on using oem headlights there sealed and pressurized there basically a big bulb. to do your plan you will have to get some type of composite headlight conversion.

you may be able to build a composite headlight with glass lenses idk on that. but your talking money work and really no advantage. all cars now are plastic it doesnt cause and issue as long as you keep it waxed so it wont scratch up.

I wonder if the turn signals are visible if the headlight has HID bulbs installed. Anyone try it?
