      Wheel manufacturers....

Anyone have links/suggestions for lightweight/ strong wheels for racing and street use?
I love the HRE 845r's, but damn near died when I saw the price wat over 1000.00 per wheel, not the set.

Looking for wheels with a relativly thin 5 spoke design. 17 or 18"
      Thanks.

Have you tried BBS. Most all of their wheels are lightweight and you know they are strong.

I missed the 1k each comment Whoops! Steevo has that same wheel, but without the reverse drop. It's pure sex in person. Andrew has them also.

      Thanks guys!
Looked at Jongbloed, ROH, Simmons,CCwheel, Kenisis, BC,Racinghart. Looks like there is a contender in the BC line.
Problem I have is that I dont like the rivit look on wheels for the older cars(dont like em on the newer cars either, but they do fit better).
Keep em coming if you have ideas that havnt been posted.

The wheel in my avatar is a ROH modena. (over 1000 each)

however, the BCforged rim is a "knockoff"

but the granddaddy of this style rims is the GFG model

      heres another nice set.

As far as "rivetless" designs go, bear in mind, that the rivets usually denote a "racing" style 3 piece wheel, and are usually stronger and better suited to holding up to the stresses our big 'ol cars put on em going through the bends.

Thoughts everone? should be start the multipiece vs. forged one piece, discussion?

I understand the reasons for the rivets, I just dont like em...LOL. It's the reason I really would like the HRE 845r's, nice clean look, with the stong design(but rivets on the backside).

If you want strong and reasonable, check out forged wheels from Weld and Centerline.
