      Project "Dreamin'"

I got ahold of my dream car(well it will be soon lol)! I have decided to go the Pro-Touring way with it now instead of drag/street build. Let me get ya's up to date here a little bit. I found this 69 Firebird "Sprint" back on Feburary 23. I picked the car up minus motor/3-speed trans other then that is is a complete car not missing any trim or broken glass. The car was found in a barn and has been there since the early 80's. I have been working on it ever since then. So far I have replaced the floors, Built my own mini tubs out of new wheel wells and notched the frame. Put a new tail panel, inner rear valance, quarter panels, started to smooth the firewall and relocate wiper motor. I am currently working on the new trunk floor and shock cross member.
My plans are a complete restomod/pro-touring treatment. I have a pretty long list of items needed and thing to do yet lol. I am open to all and any ideas you all may have. So here is some pics of the build so far. So if I am too pic happy lol.

Still gotta finish off the firewall...

After I POR15 inside the frame rails I started on the trunk floor,

And this brings me to where I am today. I started to bend up some metal to make the flange that goes from the floor to the tail panel. I still have one more piece to bend up and weld in. Then I can finish off the trunk.

That was a lot of bodywork, the Firebird has lived a hard life! Nice to see a good job and I think it will be a great Firebird.
