ez efi and fuel pressure regulator

I am installing the ez efi system on my 440 challenger, and we kept blowing lines. Turns out the fuel pressure regulator is at 80 psi and wont come down from that. Question is, can I use a different fuel pressure regulator? I have seen some at the local speed shop that are adjustable. That should work fine right, It doesnt need to be the same that Fast provided or does it?
