I restored a 1967 Mercury truck for my wife that she and practically her entire family learned to drive in. She affectionately named the truck "Ernie". Carrying a slant 6 and a light green paint job, we thought the name was quite appropriate. I told the story earlier about selling her 100 point '67 XKE, and having an empty space, I decided to build her something completely opposite of her Mercury....something loud, mean, fast and in your face.
SO.....ERNREE is ERNIE's alter ego (his violent side).....finally allowing me to give my awesome, ex stuntwoman wife a car that truly is an extension of BOTH our personalities!!!
See for yourself....
