ac mounting braket on iron block LS2

I have looked and looked until I cant stand it no more!!
I am installing the small sandon compressor on my 67 camaro with an iron block ls2. I was looking at the block for the mounting holes and dont see how the brakets bolt on. I have to install it down low next to the frame. I know I have to do the notch. Just trying to find out if it is possible to make it work on the iron block or am I looking at it wrong???

      Pictures would be awesome!

I assume by iron block LS2 you mean an LQ4/9, LY6, etc.
The original compressor has bosses cast into the side for mounting.
For an aftermarket Sanden, you'll need something like this. Just be sure it will work with your accessory spacing.

I don't think that bracket setup will work, I measured and from what I can tell the side of the compressor will hit the frame. You need one like Street & Performance makes.
If you're planning on using the SD7 compressor, Vintage Air told me it was too small. They get away with it on their Front Runner kit because it's overdriven. They suggest
the 508 compressor (little longer, but skinnier) which will work on the main belt, the S&P style mounting and a frame notch. You want the comp. with the port that point out
to the side, not straight out the back too.

Disclaimer: This is what all my research has shown, I haven't actually BOLTED any of this together yet.

If you beat me too it please post pics with details.

If the low mount wont work Kwik Performance makes a high passenger side bracket for truck, f body, or vette spacing.

508 won't work down low. It is too long and will hit the engine mount tower. I installed an SD7 on an LS3 with stock a/c system. It works, blows cold, not ideal, just wish the factory blower motor moved more air.

Is this with it being run off the main front belt? "Lance-W" on here put a 508 down low with the S&P mounts on the main belt and it fit with a frame notch. Looked all over on here for the pics but I can't find them.
