Fast EFI question

Ok I finally placed my order for the Fast EFI kit, purchased the one with the fuel pump.

Now for the question. I also purchased a new fuel tank, pickup and straps. I know this system needs a return so I was going to weld on a bung so I can use AN fittings. Is it best to have the connection at the top of the tank? Also, I was going to weld a bracket to the back of the tank to hold the fuel pump, good Idea or bad?

Anything else I should know about installing this kit (PN 30227)?
