      Awesome job.
Thanks for the comments, I had been thinking about it for years as well, and was just sure someone would beat me to the punch.

I have a few photos of it under construction, but not a sequence of how it was done. To be quite honest, this car was built as a proof-of-concept just to see how it would A) Perform. I knew it would be a super handling maching and wanted to see just how good it would be, and B) Appeal. I wanted to see what kind of response it received to possibly justify going into production of completed chassis to be for sale in the open market.

I have spent hundreds of hours developing this car, and have learned much. I have come to the conclusion as I get more miles on this thing, that I don't care if people like it or not. It is a blast to carve up a back county road glued to the corners with the top down, the windows out and the stereo up! It really is like a motorcycle with comfortable seats and storage, and to top it off, there is no other car out there like it. Isn't that what its all about?

Future plans for this car is for more power, but I am seriously leaning toward a turbo 4 cyl instead of a V8. Heck, a small displacement, heavily boosted engine was good enough for Group B rally cars back in the day, then it is good enough for me!

I already have on the drawing board, plans for the next one. It will again feature a low stance with full independent suspension, but this time with a high horsepower turbo engine, tons of suspension travel, gravel rally tires and AWD!

If you are thinking of going in the direction of AWD I would hunt a wreck Suaru. The flat 4 will drop the CG into the pavement and there are a million upgrade parts available.

Any time, I give credit where credit is due. I thought the same thing, I figured someone would have done this long ago.

Great minds think alike. I was thinking the same thing. The thought of a dropped 2wd w/wide tires and a boosted 4 banger would perform amazing. AND surprise anyone in its path, hah. Though lately I have thought about a NA aluminum 5.3. This is all really just a pipe dream for me right now.

I dont doubt it man, from the look of it you have some serious log time in on that front end. Man, I bet, it must handle like its on rails, litterally on rails. I think I might compare it more to a rather large Go-Kart. "Isnt that what its all about" HELL YEAH....................

I like the idea of a built 4, HMMMMM, do I see a Cosworth in your near future ;) . Ahh the good ole days, Group B Rally. My all time favorite being a Ford RS200.

The next one sounds interesting. Subd...........

      Nice chattin with yah Andy

Nice to hear from you as well. Thanks for the kind words. I have a few more mods I want to try out on this car, then I think I will put it on the market so I can dive into the next one!

The Lancia Delta S4 is the snot as far as I am concerned...

      Have a good one,

I am going to be in the LA area next week with the Jeep. I want to take it up Mullholland highway to the Rock Store, any other suggestions of good drives while I am in the area? I plan to drive direct to LA and then return up PCH and 101. Any must do's or must see's on my route?

      Thanks,
      Andy

Now that is thinking outside the box! That is something I never thought I'd see and I like it. Bet that is fun to drive and the looks it gets must be icing on the cake.
