Solid closing doors

Does anyone have any advice on how I can go about making my door make that oh-so satisfying 'thub' sound when I close them? I've adjusted my doors to close about as easy as I can, but I still feel like they rattle or tin somewhat when I close them. Does anyone put sound deadener in the door? I've thought about that but am concerned anbout retaining moisture in the door.

I've got about a million questions about making a high-quality interior, mostly on how to make it more luxury car than muscle car, but barely know where to start. I'm also curious about what the high-quality shops use for carpeting. The ACC or whoever stuff seems to fade and get gross in about 2 years, and I'd like something that lasts quite a bit longer than that.
