      Solid closing doors

Does anyone have any advice on how I can go about making my door make that oh-so satisfying 'thub' sound when I close them? I've adjusted my doors to close about as easy as I can, but I still feel like they rattle or tin somewhat when I close them. Does anyone put sound deadener in the door? I've thought about that but am concerned anbout retaining moisture in the door.

I've got about a million questions about making a high-quality interior, mostly on how to make it more luxury car than muscle car, but barely know where to start. I'm also curious about what the high-quality shops use for carpeting. The ACC or whoever stuff seems to fade and get gross in about 2 years, and I'd like something that lasts quite a bit longer than that.

Dynamat the inside of the door helps the tinny sound

I did the skin alone, and it improved greatly.

You can do the skin and the inner, but I think that's overkill.

It's a little harder to get to but I did my kids inner door skin and it made a world of difference. I like it so much that I also just did my firebird the same way.

I'm happy to spend as long as it takes to make it 'thunk'. Is there any concern about moisture getting trapped behing the deadener? Did you guys use lizard skin or something first?
