Mopar PT Parts?

I had been looking at GM A-body PT parts, but I started looking at Mopar PT parts, any big companies for Mopar? Like BMP? UMI? etc. Thanks, Bradley

The usual, A-arms, coil-over kits, sway bars, everything underneath.

You can start your suspension upgrade project by doing it in stages. Start with sway bars and shocks, and then change out your springs at a later date. Save the control arms for last as they are the most expensive but will give you better alignment values that will enhance the reasons you are going in this direction.

After all the above is installed, then start thinking about brakes and then wheels and tires. Don't change out the wheels until you're sure the brake kit you choose will fit.

As far as "lower prices" go, check around as Summit Racing often has deals on Hotchkis suspension components. My recommendation is to get the best parts you can afford as they'll last longer and be of better quality. Don't cheap out on shocks.

There's good stuff available for the Mopars now ...

I have the Alter-k-tion but that was bought before Hotchkis got into Mopars. If I would have seen the E-Maxx Challenger back then I would have saved money and went that way. Don't get me wrong, the Alter-k-tion is bad ass and handles like it's on rails, Hotchkis is just more economical and looks to be more than adequate for track use.

There are others out there that have pieces and parts and other odds and ends, but Firm Feel, AlterK, XV, and Hotchkis are the biggest players with complete systems.

firmfeel also makes part, however, i priced out their parts with the entire hotchkis TVS kit and found that all said and done there was only like a 1-200$ difference. IMO that's just not enough when the hotchkis kit has those light hollow sway bars.

Don't forget the Mr norms Freakride stuff, just put one in a A body and it is pretty sweet.

There’s also a big difference in engineering. We change the upper pivot point of the control arms which is huge improvement in the control arm geometry (camber gain and bump steer). Our rear leaf springs have modified mounting points to correct geometry, and our steering and strut rods use aerospace spherical rod ends. Our sway bars are also adjustable, allowing you to tune the way the car handles on the track and street.

Cool videos. I sold my 69 Road Runner after finding out how expensive it was going to be to Pro-Tour it the way I wanted too, but that was a few years back. If Hotchkis had parts back then, I might kept it longer. Way to go Hotchkis!
