02-28-2012 #22Took awhile, but I have been busy working in the garage. 90% of the car was completed in October/November. I was able to put a few hundred miles on before winter arrived!
The brakes for Tobin @ Kore 3 were perfect. Well packaged, thorough BOM, and great help on the phone!

Perfect back plates! They were a shame to cover up!

New pan from car kraft:

New 9" from Quick Performance in Iowa! Great value, quality, and service (thanks Brydon)

I did have to re-machine the pinion support--not all flanges have the same pattern (speedtech assumed a strange 3rd member, I had a Yukon gear)

I made custom Motor mount plates out of 1/2" alum plate:

Installed a SS tank by Rick's:

Pulled the TCM, and had the shift points quickened by Jim Miller at Zero Gravity Perf in Phx, AZ (Jim was a calibration engr @ GM for 25 yrs).

-67 Camaro in process: Speedtech Track Time Pkg (AFX Spindles, C5 Zo6 brakes, rack, rear torque arm, 9", Ride Tech coils, and a L92/6L80e Swap).
-2005 Jeep Rubicon Limited LJ, 35"er's, 6" Nth Degree Lift, Hanson Bumpers, 8274 Winch, with a Redbone Coonhound in the backseat.
02-28-2012 #23I then went to Texas Speed and Perf:
I ordered a DOD and VVT delete kit with the largest cam I could fit without cutting the pistons:
(jesse, my friend wearing the "Man Thong Racing t-shirt", is an LS Pro)

I was told the motor had 1700 miles on it......seems like a lot of carbon for 1700 miles! (maybe 17k or 27K?)

All Clean:

Valve Springs:

Ended up buying a used LS3 intake....and an F-body Acc system:

I could not help it, I had to get the headers!

4th Gen Booster, right hand drive S10 Master cylinder (from Tobin). and the brake system was good to go!

Protorque Converter--10" with a 2800 stall (through Twistmachine---should be fun with the Paddles:

My helper (helper actually preferred playing "Angry Birds" over wrenching):

Paddles from Twistmachine! Thanks Steve (he was very patient, helpful, and great to work with)

Gauges from New Vintage---very cool!

02-28-2012 #24With the help of 4 friends, the front Clip was back on!:

Little too low for tire clearance! (had to get longer front springs from Roger @ speedtech--needed 10" instead of 8"--I also went to the 450# springs)

Tuning @ Jesse's shop (can you tell it was hot?)

Off to get exhaust:

Magnaflow 3" SS system did not fit, so I had Taylor Star Automotive do a custom 2.5" system. They did a wonderful job!

After tuning we found that the 90 degree ellbow I purchased from Steet and Perf could not be used, so I had a custom one built.
Thanks to Gino, Andy Wicks (Dynotuneusa), Jesse, Justin, and 15 gallons of gas, we were able to get the car running great!Bobby

Looks great. That is quite the list of upgrades you just installed in the car. I bet you can't wait for spring. I bought a set of the 69 vintage guages I really like how they look.
