      Looking for Interior Inspiration

I am currently attempting to design a trunk layout for my 72 Chevelle as well as maybe some slightly modded/custom door panels. I am hoping for some opinions/ideas/pics of what could be done. I know there are several threads similar to this, but they were a little old.

For the trunk I have a sub, amp, and battery to accommodate for. I was thinking something sleek and spacious.

As for the door panels, I just want something simple with an armrest, window crank, and door pull. I have kept the seats original so I want to do something that will fit.

To help here are some pics of my car.

Door panels in my 72 442, I reused the armrest and trim.

      For the sub, I mounter 2 10" woofers between 2 6 x 9s in a single oval grill.

I found your door panel diy, which is what gave me inspiration to customize mine. I think the door panels look great and I really like the long oval grill covering the subs, looks real sharp.

I was working on some designs last night in photoshop and this is what I came up with.

It is just a rough idea and if it was easier to do I would have thinned out the top molding and made it thinner all together. Overall, I think they would look pretty good in the car. Please share your thoughts/opinions.

I though you said "slightly" modded. I like them for an updated look. What finishes/materials are you planning on using. If the upper piece with holes is metal, I hope you have a water jet to cut it.

I'm not sure what materials exactly to use quite yet, but the upper piece would be metal and the holes would be made using dimple dies at a local machine shop.
