      Vintage Air/Factory Questions

      Hi guys,

I put a third gen serpentine set up on my 69 camaro with a gen II system. I think I can use the factory compressor, but I have a few questions:

      1. VA sells the adapter I would need for the line connections, but I am unsure of how to wire the factory compressor to work with this system. Any ideas?

      2. Does anyone make a mount that would allow the use of the VA compressor with the serpentine system?

      3. Which would be the better choice?

      4. If I do use the factory compressor, the unit I have will need replacement anyway, which unit (year and vehicle specific) would work best? I have a compressor from a 91 305.

      Thanks

      Pete

With the 3rd gen serpentine set up you need to use the factory compressor and adapter. Wiring is simple, just a hot wire feed from the VA harness to your compressor

We have set up many of these systems. Just give me a call when your ready and we can spek it out for you.
