New by with 70 SS396 Chevelle

Hey guys, found this site via chevelles.com. My car is pretty stock at the moment and basically I'm going to build the suspension and lower a bit to get some handeling back and wheels. Body will stay stock as will the interior. So, not really pro touring but not a restored original. That will come in the future. I am even considering air bagging it. IF I can do it without cutting anythng

Oh, my name is Dustin, I live in the panhandle of Tx and I'm a small independent Oil and natural gas producer. I've owned this car for 16 years and it has sat just like this for the last 10. Time for that to stop.

Looks like Shadow Grey? A very rare color in 1970. 1970 Chevelles have been one of my specialties and I went through at least (100) 70 Chevelle SS, many LS6 cars, and only had one Shadow Grey car. And one of the few colors I prefer a vinyl top on.

And with Silvers, Greys, Gun-metals being so popular now, you have a real winner there.

I am seeing some black center wheels with polished lips to pick up the black stripes and Chrome trim, a couple inch drop, perfect!
