      looking for shock advice

i'm just ordered a set of Hotchkis springs for my 74 Olds and now i'm looking into the shocks, i'm new to pro touring cars and was looking for a little advice. the car is mostly going to be a street car that'll run at the track once in a while, so i'm not looking for anything spectacular, just some good driveing good handleing shocks. i was looking at KYB gas adjust but know nothing about them and i was also looking at the Edelbrock shocks but again know nothing about them so any input would be appreciated.

Get the Hotchkis Bilsteins, they are valved to match the springs.

I have the hotchkis springs with the bilsteins on my 1968 camaro. No complaints. Car doesnt ride to hard. Handles well and has almost no body roll when cornering fast. My car is steet driven.

looks like the Hotchkis bilsteins are the favorite, i'll look at those, especailly if they are tuned for their springs, i didn't even think about that fact.

Lesson number one right there, Sam. Vendor matched systems are usually a good bet, unless your name is Bryce, Matt, David or JP...

i'm looking at this picture and it got me thinking, do all the rear anti sway bars have U bolts on the rear axle, the reason i ask is i have a 74 A body with a Chassis Works Fab 9 with back brace and i'm going to be looking for some sway bars here in the near future.
