      D1 procharger oil feed

I am planning on running a D1 (not SC) on my 355 SBC and am looking for advice on running the oil line to the unit. I've heard there is a specific trick to running the return line back to the pan. I would like to know where is the best place to tap into for the oil feed and if where is the best location to return to the sump. Anyone got any pictures??

      Thanks in advance!

My feed comes from the spot just above the oil filter location on my SBC. The return goes from the bottom of the supercharger and returns to the top of the pan just below the D1. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.

I know on my turbos I feed from just behind the dizzy where my oil gauge sensor is and return to same location as stated above. I feed with -4 and return with -10.

Above the timing chain cover is a port 1/4'' NPT. I have my drain from my turbo going into fuel pump off plate.

I run a feed line out of the port just above the oil filter and a -10 return line to a bulkhead fitting in the oil pan that I installed.

Is the NPT port 1/4"? Doesn't this cause a flow restriction? Does it matter?
