      Where is the entrance to the airfield?

      Like how do we actually get in the gate? Where is the gate? What road is it on?

      And finally when is tech? I have to drive 2 hours to get there too, where is the closest gas station?

      Address to gate is 6782-6998 Marine Way, Irvine CA. mapquest will take you right there. Gas station is right at interstate exit, i think its the 405? Gate opens at 0700 and tech starts around 0730-0800.

      There is a couple gas stations off Sand Canyon. I think there is a Arco or 76 right off the freeway or you can head east on Sand Canyon and there is a Chevron about a mile up.

      Yes, volunteers use the same gate. There is a designated parking area when you drive into the event that's just a few hundred feet from the activities. It's a good setup.
