Thanks guys, i am looking to make around 400 rwhp outta the car and from what i have read should be a pretty easy goal. We have a local SAAB shop that has taken these lil engines far beyond what most people think they are capable of and they are really excited about this build as am I. We have proven ourselves with the LSx stuff and i am gettin bored with it so i wanted to do something different.

I will have pics up later this week of the trans tunnel, accesory drive and intake manifold. I only get to work on this car 2 days a week or should i say 2 nights a week due to other projects we have going on. It sucks...

Just out of curiosity....what does it take to get that kind of power out of an ecotec? Can it be done in a similar price range as say a GMPP LS3? How deep of a sacrifice to the durability of the engine is there at those power levels?

It could be an extension of II Much....IV Much. This is shaping up nicely. I have been intrigued by Ecotec's since they came out and I am glad somebody is doing a build with one.
