I've never quite understood how an open-faced helmet could be rated with the same impact and fire retardent rating as a close face helmet ..

Next year, most tracks are going to require the 2005 or newer helmets, so I strongly suggest you get one of those if you are in the market for a new one.
      Ok , I ordered an SA2010 helmet .
      So , I'm all set ..

      AAAHHH...WHAT TO DO???????

I just reserved the hotel....now I am trying to decide if I should volunteer at the event or should I run the monte???? If I volunteer I would be driving down there in my HHR which gets 30+ mpg. If I take the monte I would be trailering it down there at about 12-15mpg. Money is knda tight so I dunno....HELP!!!

I hate to suggest using a credit card for your expenses, but it might be worth it if you really want to bring the Monte! Play now and pay later!

Do you plan on telling the grandkids one day that you worked the event or that you drove the hell out of your car at the event and it was a blast and even though money was tight you have a real fun experience to share??? Just saying..... I promise, the tight money today won't matter then but the experience will.

      Hi guys.

Unfortunately, my car will not be finished in time for this event. I was hoping to make Goodguys Nashville and RTMC the first events for the Camaro, but it's not going to happen. The car is wrapping up, but I still have no interior. So, I have my registration spot for the full event as well as two nights at the host hotel (Holiday Inn Express - Mt. Juliet) available. If interested, email me at [email protected] or call at 270-705-0700cell.

      Thanks.

Rod, I may take it off your hands, but I am totally unsure right now also! The engine is laying on the floor without any heads on it and the trans is in Lots of pieces......and some of them broke!!
So, I got to put the engine back together,
      build a TH400 for it,
      get a crossmember to fit,
      get a driveshaft made,
get front pads and rear shoes (yes you read that right!) put on,
new front tires since I made them the shape of a stop sign at MMCC last year,
My master cyl is leaking now, so a new one there,
seat belts ordered and installed for the new cage,
      interior put back in,
      Engine and trans back in,
Oil restrictors put in the oil lines to the turbos,
and "check" all the suspension over
All in just a couple weeks!!! So, I don't know for sure if I am going but I can tell you that I will try like heck to get there!!!

Anyone close want to help?!? Lol!!

Bill or Brian, How many spots left? Any restictions for a convert. w no bar? If its speed stop and autocross only thats cool BUT. Even paced "speed" laps would be worthy of the cost and roadtip expense. MMC last year was awesome! This looks similarly as cool!
