i think the guys on page 16 get the thumbs up though. there parking brake is so full of win.

what other pictures did you send them that they didn't use? i figured they would have used this one instead of the one they did.

thats cool. i'm going to show a friend of mine your car tomorrow. how do you like the global west stuff? he has a '72 monte and wants to do something with the suspension. his is also a big block 4 speed car, what did you have to change to get the 5 speed in?

The Global West stuff rocks!

I converted from column shifted auto to 5 speed. I would think if you go from a 4 speed, the only thing different could be the crossmember, driveshaft and maybe the shifter location

Congrats on getting your project in the magazine. I'm on the page next to yours... I made the mistake of thinking they'd go through my build thread and pick out the best (and most recent) pictures... I learned they didn't have the time to do that. It was my mistake I didn't slow down and send them my favorite pics... Just like your main picture, they happened to choose one of my "before" pictures and not what it looks like 3 years later! The front suspension picture they used in my writeup was from an earlier vintage (at the beginning of my build thread) as it has all been changed and upgraded since then. Unfortunately, by the time I was shown the pictures used in the article, it was too late to make any changes...

Oh well, if anyone is interested in checking out my project, they can come check out the build thread and see the latest and greatest... I'm just real appreciative they decided to put my car in their magazine!

i didn't get to see the pictures they picked before.

maybe they plan on a whole write up on our cars and didn't want to give away all the cool pictures lol
