      Fiero seats

Well, not exactly custom. The seats are out of a 1984 Fiero. I'm having covers made to re-upholster them. Pardon my rudimentary Photoshop skils, but tell me what you think.

      Perhaps more like this?

The response has been negative for the most part. I'm recovering Fiero seats to use in a second generation Trans Am and want to:

      A) have a seating surface that doesn't make my butt sizzle when I get in the car on a July afternoon!

      B) have better bolsters than the horse collar seats that came stock.

      C) did something to break up that solid sea of blue interior I currently have.

The wife says if I do it the white had better be something that cleans easily since I get in with greasy clothes on all the time. So I'm thinking an off white vinyl insert with perforations.

Well, I puked a motor so the interior work has taken a back seat (pun intended).

I did re-do my seats with Mr. MIke's covers:

I had been working on these before the TA died. So I went ahead and installed them in my Fiero. I originally intended to use these in the TA but doing the work to dye them to match the blue interior gave me pause. This was my first attempt at upholstery so be gentle. I did learn a lot about doing this kind of work in the process. Those guys earn their money. Hog rings can be a b#$%^ to work with.
