Some brake swap questions - 64 chevelle

I'm swapping my manual drum/drum setup for front discs (c4/c5 hybrid setup) in my 64 chevelle. I have a 77 Malibu master cylinder (manual disc/drum).

I can't say I know all that much about braking systems. My main question - is the larger reservoir for the front brakes?

Is there somewhere I can find the fitting sizes for the stock setup? I have a wilwood prop valve with 3/8-24 inlet/outlet. I'm thinking the best way to plumb this would be to reuse the distribution block with the rear outlet plugged with a longer line running up to the m/c for the rear brakes. I need to know what size plug to get and fittings for the rear line. Thanks guys!

The large reservoir is typically for disc brakes and the small one for drum brakes in a disc/drum application since you must account for pad wear with more fluid volume. Drum brakes don't require much additional fluid with shoe wear. Ideally, the reservoir volume should allow for pad wear from new to worn out without requiring the addition of any fluid during that period, however when running a disc/drum MC in a disc/disc, you'll usually need to add fluid to compensate for rear pad wear at some point.

As for fittings, are you referring to the 1/2-20 and 9/16-18 tube nuts for the master cylinder? Those are pretty standard auto parts store parts in the bulk fitting section (Weatherhead, Everco, Edelmann, etc). You can aslo choose to run adapter fittings if you want to reduce it down to 3/8-24 or some other standard tube nut size.

Thanks! I got adapters for the mc and ran all the lines yesterday. I still have to bleed everything before I can take it for a spin.
