This picture is for all of you Ford Guys.

and my favorite part of the car the bike rack. I can't wait till Kenny mounts the Rocky Mount bike tray and puts the bike on the car.

      Good Morning,

I wanted something different with the interior on this version of the car. I asked Victor Fulton if he wouldn't
mind sketching out my thoughts and I think he read my mind or he did a really good job of looking at the
pictures that I gave him for idea's.

      2013 10-22 2nd Chance - Air Cleaner
      www.2ndchancecamaro.com

      Good Evening,

We are getting down to all of the small detail stuff. I had a couple idea's what I wanted for an air cleaner and this one turned out much better then the original idea.

A member on Nasty Z28 suggested I look at Nascar Air Cleaners and then the wheels started to spin. I order a full Carbon Fiber Air Cleaner Assembly from Roush Yates. The were kind enough to ship it out 90 minutes before they were going home so we would get it next day. Great guys and I can't say enough good things about them.

Im sure not feeling those wheels, look too much like newer ricer/tuner cheapie wheels, the other wheels looked better to me BUT then I am still feeling more of the 5 spoke type wheels.
      But it is your car.
Heck Im still debating wheels for "What If,,,?" as I am trying to get the look "stock" enough to make believe GM got it right 10,15 yrs earlier than they did as I was looking at the Vette split 5 spoke in black,,,,and buddy talked me into 9.5 in wheels all around so I can rotate for wear,,,and I agree as well as looking for suitable tires that are asymmetrical versus directional.
As an alignment tech I HATE directionals. They NEVER wear right in longer treadwear ratings, soft tires usually wear out before showing bad wear and look/ride like a$$.
But car is sure looking good and you have given me some ideas on "Cheap Trick".
      Keep it up.

      Morning Lee,

Since the paint is satin it needed something to make the car "POP" and bright shinny wheels made a huge difference. It's possible that the centers may get painted after Sema like the did on "Pissed Off"

Eventualy this car will have 295's all the way around however the rear tires will be 1.5" taller. Looking at these cars from the side they just look like they need a taller tire in the rear. So when we install the Scott Mock Subframe under the front it will allow me to run a 295 35 18 on the front to match the 29 35 19 that are currently on the rear.

and thank you for the compliments on the cost saving idea's

I was and am in the same boat as you. I only had a couple hours a week to work on my car. That is why I asked Kenny if he wanted to do another car with me and he said sure no problem. However these last two weeks I am betting he regrets saying that.

Once the car comes back home I have plenty more planned for it and it will be all small stuff that will take hours vs. months to do.

and yes I can't freaking wait to see it. 12 days and counting !!!

      2013 10-24 2nd Chance - optima battery Cover
      www.2ndchancecamaro.com

      Good Evening,

Now that we have that trick Billet Battery tray and that ultra reliable optima battery. Kenny decides last minute that he wants to make
some more cool parts for the underhood. And of course he installed the Ride Tech Fender braces which were the first part I purchased
      for this car.

Since he did the battery side you have to do something with the washer tank.

      2013 10-25 2nd Chance - It's all in the Details
      www.2ndchancecamaro.com

      Good Morning,

We ordered up a set of cross drilled & vented rotors from Tobin at Kore3 to complete the look on the upgraded brakes.

Upgraded the stock plug wires to MSD

Kenny wasn't feeling the headlight buckets so it painted them but left a small bit of chrome on them. He also installed the headlights from DSE to complete the look.

and let us not forget about the bike.

      more to come later today.
