chevelle wheel wells on 442???

i have a 1972 olds 442 convert currently they have plastic fender wells. I was wondering if metal fender wells from a chevelle would work on my vehicle or are they completely different?? any help would be great thanks in advance

I had a '69 Chevelle that had plastic when I bought it and I pulled the metal wheelwells out of a '72 Chevelle and they went right in. I think you'd be fine. I think the repro metal wheel wells are advertised as 68-72 A body.
