      lcd slideout

      (Click on pic for video) Looking for a mechanism that will side out a monitor like the video shows. Can anyone point me in the right direction. The monitor is a 10 LCD touch screen.

      You will need to use a linear actuator and build a frame to hold the monitor. Look on line, many people sell them.

      linear actuator is a electric motor that is set up to give linear motion. Think air shock or pneumatic ram.

      Do you want the lcd to slide out,flip and pull itself against the dash? or just slide out and you flip it manually? We can make it for you if you want.

      get me the measurements for the lcd so i can make a wood mock up to build the mechanism around it

      The measurements of the monitor are : 268mm x 194mm x 40mm ( 10" monitor) I am thinking of an 8" also what ever would fit better. (205mm x 170mm x32mm)

      you can look at hide a way license plate frames and just ad a motor
