Just got my reservations converted over to the group rate. The group rate is good for only Fri and Sat nights FYI. I used my AAA for discounts for Thurs and Sunday nights.

Thanks guys for hooking up the group rate.

Guys, I just called back today and got even better rates for Thurs thru Sun. The current AAA and standard rates are even better than the Group Rate ($56 and 65 depending on which days you are staying).

Give em a call to save some more bucks. Not sure how long it will be good for.

Just an FYI and not to throw a monkey wrench into anyone's plans but I was looking into this hotel to stay at with my wife and 2 small kids. It sits right next to a train track and while I don't know the train schedule it does run at night and it does blow it's horn as there's an intersection right there. If I was by myself I'd just have enough beers so it wouldn't matter.

Since we'll be driving over from Phoenix I'm going to stay nearby and then meet in the parking lot Fri AM. Don't want to chance the whole family being up all night after a long drive and then putting them in the car for the Friday stuff.

we stayed last year and i didn't hear a thing............... but that could have been due to the fact that we were in Tia Juana's and after that no trains............... it was line dancing night!!!! saturday night if i remember. well worth the time invested.

Well that's good news. I don't know first hand, just what I read on some of the reviews and wanted to make others aware of the possibilty. For my own sanity better to make sure the family gets a good night sleep so I don't hear about it the ENTIRE next day.
