      Hello from Sunny Arizona

Hey everyone. New guy from Phoenix AZ. I was directed to the site from Team Camaro, and I love all the diverse projects being put together here. There is some amazing talent floating around on here and I especially love that you guys are building other things besides Camaros. I do like Camaros, but I love all cars in general.
Speaking of Camaros, I have a 1968 Camaro coupe, with Hotchkis suspension stuff and a mild 327/ M21 combo that I built up from a rolling shell over the past year and a half. Pro- Touring in itself is beyond my financial bounds, so I built my car with more of a Vintage Trans- Am vibe or "Poor Touring" if you will. I had a pretty tight budget ($15,000 including the $5,000 I paid for the car), but I have gone over that a little bit. I built the whole car myself including paint, and while it isnt a show car, and probably wouldnt negotiate the cones as well as most of the cars here, it is satisfying knowing I did it all and it is a hoot to drive. Its not quite "done" yet, but as they say, it never really is. I will try to attach a before and after pic of the car and my inspiration.

Thanks Guys. Here are a couple more pictures including one of the car stickered up with different wheels (I even built some road race pipes to complete the look and still be semi- street legal). The sponsor stickers were vintage copies. It looked really neat, but with a full interior, no roll cage and no 500hp 302 under the hood, it looked too much like a poser, so I took all the stickers off and went with standard dual exaust.
