Did the Katech rod bolt upgrade today

After reading on LS1 rod bolt failures I decided to snag a set of Katech rod bolts. I'm shooting for the 10s this year and plan on spending some time in the upper end of the tach so it seemed like a logical upgrade. My cam makes solid power in the 6800 range and I plan on a set of cnc'd heads this winter. The rod bolt install was very straight forward and the Katech parts look top notch. For those like me who don't have the budget for a set of rods, machine work, balancing etc. this is a cheap, killer upgrade to add a little insurance. Most of the guys I talked to had failures where the stock bolts strecthed and ended up having the rod cap smack the bearings to death. If it comes apart- I'll let you guys know!

i used them in my C5Z. i also upped the rev limiter to 7k and was close to it a lot of the time. well worth the upgrade for peace of mind.
