OMG I am so tired and my shoulders ache,,,

Well I built a set of big block chevy heads to sell to a friend from work. He got a motor home for $400 but the previous owner smoked the heads after throwing the fan belt. Crack city!
so I had an old set of 772s, these things had like 1.83" intakes, have not idea what they came off of but a new intake valve is like $56!
So I told him Id grind valves and seats and throw them back together.
Well all of the parts there but 1 retainer, 2 split locks and a rubber VS seal. So my friend has a machine shop where I get my work done, so I asked and he let me tear them down after they had sat in trunk of my 69 Ventura for about 15 yrs.
Still grungy but not greasy, so I blast them and the valves and the spring/retainers.
Find one bent valve, non in shop, cant even find part number.
I couldnt believe it, these heads cleaned up with almost not major grinding on seats, couple had pits but ground out , one broken off guide replaced , and seat movement even took out pits it had so it all worked good.
so how to come up with a 1.830 valve? Take a 2.07, and a 4 1/2 in grinder, chuck in a lathe and grind'er down.
Then refaced it and installed it and done deal, and believe it or not all the seals were good a soft so I reused them.
But I can believe I used to do this stuff for $3 an hout off the books, at local rad/machine shop, then after work stay and work on my 327!
I also havent lugged big block cast iron heads for years, last one built in 94! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO heavy.
I am gonna pay for this but hop to make enough to get some parts for one of the cars Im building.
Well buddy better be ready to ante up something as well as some cash.
      we will see.
