GTO Seats (Front & Rear) in a 70 Chevelle?

I saw a set of 06 Pontiac GTO Seats online for about $900. I figured that it would be perfect for my 70 Chevelle PT build. Has anyone ever tried this before?

I've "seen" it done... the backseats have to be cut down a little... do a search on GTO seats... you should find the thread for it....

There are at least a couple of guys (on this forum even, i believe) that have threads using the GTO stuff. Couldn't tell you where exactly, but a little digging might do you some good...

Im in the same situation, I bought all three seats in AWESOME shape for 500. I havent gotten to the point where I am installing them but this is the best info yet. http://1badgto.com/seats.aspx The problem I have to address is that I H-A-T-E the appearance of the original carpet. I want to se about a more modern carpet . Anyway, I hope this help and keep us posted as to how it works.

900 seems a bit high. I got mine for 650 in from a 8k car. Ebay is cool, but check the GTO forums classifieds too. There are several threads here with users installing then just search "gto seats" in this forum. I will say the easiest install for the fronts is the link posted by SShep71, I've had that one saved in my favorites for a while.

      Big dreams, small pockets....
