      banjo fitting question

Need some help regarding these things. I'm wanting to use these, but outside of pictures here and there, I've never really seen them in person. How do these go together? Do they go in place just like normal fittings?

Not sure what you are really asking but here's what I suspect. The banjo fitting has three basic parts. The fitting itself, the bajo bolt, and two crush washers usually copper. To attach to your caliper on crush washer goes between the bolt and the banjo fitting. The other washer goes between the fitting and the caliper. The brake line then connects to the AN fiting on the banjo fitting.

      Hope this helps some.

.....to add to that..... The bolt threads into the caliper and the brake line attaches to the banjo fittiing.

Thanks for the help...do they seal as well as a normal fitting? what are the chances of leaks relative to a normal fitting?

Yes they do. Just always replace the copper crush washers if you take it apart after you have fully tightened it down. What I usually do is leave the crush washers out as I'm test fitting everything. Then when I'm ready to start bleading the system or am 100% sure I'm finished I put the crush washer in and tighten everything down.
