I think a lot will depend on the whole package. Such as your main color, stance, wheel size, amount of chrome trim.... will determine what will look good and what will look out of place. A little more information on your car may help others give some advice.
Having said that, I've always like solid colors for chevelles, especially convertibles since the top being a different color already, adding more kind of takes away from the car itself and can easily look over done. Personally, I don't think the side body lines work well with stripes that come down the side. Those cars have great lines as it is, and adding stripes there can really look awkward.
But again, its hard to say without knowing more of the plan for the car.2005 CBR 1000RR..."mostly stock".
1968 camaro... "in the works".

I'm not a huge fan of the carbon fiber look but i might look pretty cool! Definitely different/rare but those are two things that can be tough to achieve these days!"It's Kinda Fun To Do The Impossible."
