Anyone ever mount a satellite speaker in the rear sail panel area? (67-69 Camaro Cpe)

Now that I have my headliner and sail-panels off (69 Camaro Coupe) I found this interesting mounting point (Inside yellow circle):

I guess its for a 67 deluxe interior dome lights that were on the sail panel area instead of the overhead dome light. But it looks nearly perfect to mount a small tweeter or something in.

Just wondering if anyone had an experience with this or how it worked out. Looks like it should be easy to both mount and wire.

I think it would be fine with a small tweeter especially if you aimed it towards the opposite side's passenger.
