custom low profile thermostat housing ideas needed

I am finally to the point where the thermo housing needs to be addressed. As you can see, the intercooler tubing runs directly in front of where the thermostat would normally exit, so I am looking for ideas. the Lingenfelter TB prevents me from running a swivel because it is too tall. I really need something that exits towards the passenger side, i.e. a mirror image of a normal thermo housing.

I know the picture doesnt show much, but Its an old one that gives the best idea of whats going on.

      Opinions/ideas are more than welcome

BINGO! Thats exactly what Ive been looking for.

Next question is what to do for custom plumbing between the water neck and the radiator, although I think that some aluminum tubing and a tig would make the quickest work of that.

FYI, an LS based truck thermostat points towards the passenger side and, with a small amount of modification(cutting off the thermostat "legs" and opening up the holes), can be used on a gen1 intake.
