No problem, its a '66 Volvo Amazon. They also called them a 122, or the sporty model was the 123GT.

      Awesome build, looks great.
      Keep up the great work.

This is another Volvo that should go into HotRods library.

Awesome build! I saw a sedan version here in Oregon 25+ years ago that was bright red with all of the trim, grille and door handles blacked out. If I remember right it had black mesh wheels to. It looked killer and I've liked that style of Volvo ever since.
BTW I was poking around trying to find a picture of it online and stumbled on this.

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the flares finished.

Love it.... I had a -70 Amazon 10-15 years ago. Original B20 engine with draw thru Turbo 45mm Weber DCOE and water injektion. 20PSI boost. Lowered the comp ratio by grining out of the cc in the heads. This old turbo kit was like "ketchup" or on or off. Same feeling as the first Saab turbo's. Yellow with black moldings.

Ya the VOX amazon is wicked. It was at SEMA last year or the year before. Definite Inspiration!

Sweet! They are very uncommon around here, I don't think I've ever seen one driving.

This is a really neat project! I like it! I was looking at your flairs and started thinking (bad idea)... what if you were to take what you have now, slice the quarter and add ~2" strip of sheetmetal, then weld the quarter to that- it would space your flairs out and probably cover your wheels perfectly.

On another note- What size is the spare rim (with the holes in it) in your early pix? What size tire?
      Thanks!

I kind of want to retain the look of a factory wheel arch along with the balance of it not being bulged out toooo far. I have thought about every way possible to do this, and this is the simplest vs the amount of time I want to spend on it. The spare is a 16 x 7 i think, tire size is around a 205 or 225.

Thats awesome....that is the goal for this thing too, I don't think I've ever seen one on the road here.

Ive been doing some boring welding lately and working lots, so it hasnt seen much action. Welding all those slices sucks!

Well, wired it from scratch, 3 relays, and the lexus ignition switch, a bunch of marettes, and really only 6 wires running it......

It came right to life! Sounds like poop, no power steering fluid, and didnt want to rev, but it worked!
